Paul has worked in advertising in a variety of roles from Copywriter, Planner and Strategy Director, to agency CEO.

In seven years as CEO Paul led Havas Helsinki to more than 70 advertising, communications and efficiency awards from local shortlist to international Grand Prix and even a Gold Lion at Cannes. While awards are sometimes seen as an act of industry vanity the fact remains that awarded work provenly differentiates brands , something that’s increasingly difficult these days. Awards also inspire and motivate, they lift the bar. Good enough just isn’t. Anyway, awards are like money, only those without say its not important.

In 2017, after 21 years with the Havas Group, Paul decided to leave agency network management behind and return to his roots as a creative, establishing Ted & Ralph’s with his old friend and former colleague Kimmo.

Paul has been living in Helsinki for over 30 years and has grown roots in Finland he’s married to a Finn and his children were born and raised here. When he’s not at work or at home in the city he can usually be found in deepest Häme at the family house in the grounds of Visavuori doing something suitably Finnish.
