Paul has worked in advertising in a variety of roles from Copywriter and Planner to CEO. After 21 years with the Havas Group, the final seven as CEO. Paul is also proud of setting up Havas Media in Finland, a media agency that is today growing year on year.

In seven years as CEO Paul led his agency to more than 70 advertising, communications and efficiency awards from local shortlist to international Grand Prix and even a Gold Lion at Cannes. While awards are sometimes seen as an act of industry vanity the fact remains that awarded work provenly differentiates brands , something that’s increasingly difficult these days. Awards also inspire and motivate, they lift the bar. Good enough just isn’t. Anyway, awards are like money, only those without say its not important.

Paul has been living in Helsinki for 30 years and has grown roots in Finland. Paul’s wife is Finnish and his children were born here. When he’s not at work or at home in Punavuori he can usually be found in deepest Häme at the family house in the grounds of Visavuori doing something suitably Finnish.
